Bishop Archie L. McInnis Jr. received Christ as his personal Lord and Savior accepting God’s call to ministry in 1992. In 1994, he initalized the Full Effect Outreach Crusade where he sponsered soul-winning crusades, services and various outreach events.
In 1998, Bishop Archie L. McInnis, Jr., after having received the laying on of hands by his pastor, Bishop Eric R. Figueroa, Sr., was installed as Pastor of Full Effect Gospel Ministries, where services were held in the basement of his home. This temporary location was a safe haven for the lost, and an institution for those seeking Biblical Excellence. Through the preached word, many people from all walks of life received Jesus Christ and His plan of salvation.
The vision of the Lord has taken the ministry of Bishop from the humble beginnings of the basement, to purchase the church’s first building in East Flatbush, Brooklyn. The Lord blessed and the congregation outgrew that facility, under the Bishop’s keen leadership, the church was able to purchase their present location. April, 2011 marks 13 years of Pastoral Excellence, with this milestone, Bishop McInnis has been led of the Lord to expand the current location and the three year Expansion Project is underway and has been dubbed, “Expanding to Save Our Community.”
Bishop McInnis recognizes the need for constant growth in maximizing ministry. He has added to the community by founding such non-profit organizations as, The Archie L. McInnis Center for Excellence, a learning center for all ages. This center includes After School Tutoring, Little Archie’s Clubhouse, Group Family Day Care and the Square One G.E.D Literacy program. In addition, Bishop McInnis has currently implemented the A.L.M Bible Academy.
His vision for expansion includes the implementation of, “Route 66 Road to Success”, Substance Use/Abuse Assistance Program, AIDS/HIV Awareness and Prevention Center, Job-Readiness and Employment Assistance Program, Community Day Care and Senior Care Programs along with Youth Recreational and Fitness programs.
Bishop McInnis is married to the lovely, Lady, Evangelist Cynthia McInnis who serves as the Church Administrator. They have three children; Chelsea Victoria, Archie Lee, III and Aaron Levon.
He is completely sold out to the Lord and to the work of His hands. Bishop McInnis is a naturally funny and caring man of God whose personality embraces his listeners. Bishop McInnis is a man on a mission by faith. He often refers to Matthew 21:22, “and all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive”, and he is often quoted saying…“I receive what I believe, I have what I believe and I am what I believe, in Jesus name”!
